Whether you like it or not, I feel that wouldnt be embarrassed trying to argue to a Bob Dylan fan why Illatic is better than Blonde on Blonde or to a Beatles fan why Chronic is better than the White Album.

But Stankonia is a very good shout.

Nah man..IMO if there is a hip-hop album that has that sorta impact...Its from the early 90's/late 80's...Maybe Amerikkka's, Doggystyle, Radio, the Chonic, it Takes a Nation, Straight Outta Compton, Illmatic

Maybe there are better albums, (IMO the Blueprint is a GOAT rap album) but as far as impact on pop culture is concerned...

No......a hiphop album might not even crack the top 20-30......think about all the albums that came out before hiphop that was even born that were considered classics....I love hiphop but I couldnt see any rap album in the top 10 of greatest albums of all time......too many classic albums......think about it. How many Classic hiphop albums are there? not very many in a lot of people eyes.....would you put illmatic or blueprint or aquemini.....before purple rain or thriller?......I wouldn't....

I honestly do believe that Aquemini is the greatest album of all time. Purple Rain or Thriller doesnt have rapping on it. They dont have Funk on them(that I can think of right now). Aquemini is a melting pot of music in general, Soul, Jazz, Funk, RnB, Rock and Rap

ehhhh It's a great album....classic even....but you can't put that album up against universal classics.....hiphop heads love Aquemini....EVERYONE loves thriller....unless your a MJ hater....hell Aquemini isnt even touching Off The Wall or....Dark side of the moon (pink floyd)......if your in the top 10 all time you have to have and album that changed music or changed how people made music....

I love hiphop and mostly everything it stands for....but putting and album in the top 10 of albums of all time? I just can't see it.....
