Religion is not necessary to teach those things.Religion is counter productive because it makes people judgmental and causes segregation.

i'll be the 1st to admit i've never read the bible but from what i uderstand it isn't a very happy to do book yo. Beside yo i think your parents should instill in you on how you treat people and not religion which has been used as an excuse through out time to murder people and just plain to look down on others.

No more than an other culture you subscribe to. There's people that think they need the latest iphone, newest shoes, or most expensive car. It just reflects more on the person involved and to which level they take it. Honestly, what can be so bad about a book that says don't kill or don't steal? Now the book that says go fly some planes into a building.... that's another story. If you a piece of shit, you gone be one without a book as an outlet.
