Is Reason ready to admit that Carter 4 is one of the wackest albums this year?

wayne got lazy on this one... I can understand it cause he know he could put anything out and his fans would still cop it

I think his music has become monotonous. It's only so long people can tolerate you comparing yourself to shit and toilets and buildings til they get a bit agitated. Plus he played himself out on that album. Not one song went by where he didn't set up a punchline like "life/the game is a bitch", "they say that", "we in the building" or "I'm the shit". And the hashtag punchlines didn't help either. The difference between the Wayne then and now is that before Wayne at least had the decency to switch it up once in a while. Got Money sounds nothing like Lollipop or A Milli flow wise. He just doesn't put the effort in anymore. Hell, I put in more effort typing this than he did on that whole album.

01 Intro ------------ VERY DOPE and like the creativity of breaking this down into interludes thru out the album .... and showing luv to the hip hop vets
02 Blunt Blowin’ ------ didnt like it @first but grew to be one of my faves off the album
03 MegaMan ------------ this is just a good ride out song ... beat is crazy ... lyrics are all over the place but he got some lines on this one "We jack son then light up that L, Samuel"
04 6 Foot 7 Foot f. Cory Gunz ------- def a banger - lyrics all over the place again but wayne killed it and so did Corey Guns aka The Fiend
05 Nightmares Of The Bottom -------- Super dope track!! this is for those who are achieving if you aint you might not relate
06 She Will f. Drake -------- Dope track but the radio wore it out ... too bad most chicks wont for a regular nigga that is LOL
07 How To Hate f. T-Pain ---- dont like this track personally but its actually a good track if you give it a chance ... but not my cup of tea personally
08 Interlude f. Tech N9ne ----- SOO WOO BIZNESS !!!!!! DOPE INTERLUDE shout out to 3STACKS aka "ALL YOUR FLOWS ARE BORROWED!!"
09 John f. Rick Ross --------- CLASSIC STREET SHIT RIGHT HERE ... the radio wore this one out too BUT I STILL LUV TO BLAST THIS ONE thats why its a #classic
10 Abortion ------- YO LUV THE WORD PLAY ON THIS SONG - When i first heard the album this was my fave from the gate !!
11 So Special f. John Legend ---- the same feeling i have for the song with tpain are the same for this song

13 President Carter ------ uhhhh i think we could of done without this track ... ive gave it a few chances this song still doesnt get much spin

since Wayne stopped working with Fresh the quality of his songs has gone down...Fresh helped Wayne structure his music, make him stay on topic and not just spit random hit/miss punchlines...Wayne's work ethic now + Fresh's production would be amazing if they got back together...C4 isn't a "bad" album per say but it's no fluidity to it...you can't really listen to it straight through you end up skipping around songs

also the "lyrics being all over the place" isnt necessarily a bad thing for me ... i personally liked that style of rap ... Nas used to do it alot back in his day ... see "Take It In Blood" by Nas one of my fave nas tracks of all time

Not to me it wasn't, it was commercial pop and it did had a sense of coolness.
