The thing with Gaga and Madonna is, that's them, it's not forced. It's pretty obvious Nicki is forcing shit, and beyond all the crazy outfits Madonna and Gaga are truly talented and can sing. Nicki can't sing or perform!

I am by no means a Nicki Minaj fan, never have been and never will be, however i think it's funny how her fanbase act like she been hip-hop and now all of a sudden started trying to be hip-hop's Gaga. She BEEN doing that since she blew up. Of course she was different prior to blowing up but that's a common thing and it's still not those fans of that Nicki that are complaining.

Nah, she is not an MC. She doesn't "rock the crowd". She's a spectacle, something to look at and wonder what she's going to do or say next.

She started off rappin', which gave some niggas the rabbit ears thinking she was going to take over the game as a female artists, then she started talking that raunchy stuff, having kats compare her to Kim, then she started dressing like Kim, Missy Elliott, Charlie Baltimore, etc, etc, then when people noticed her, she flipped the script and channeled Ga Ga, Madonna, and other eccentric female artists for her antics and image.

exactly.....I thought she was trying to be lady ga ga since she dropped. Thus why she was so hype to get on tour with Britney Spears. To appease her pop audience. i'm not knocking her I just don't listen. Just like Drake we all know that he sings way too much. I disagree with some the reasoning that they gave in the video as to why Nicki isn't an MC. If I'm not mistaken, they basically called her out her for poorly executing already mastered plans established by Gaga and Madonna. Where were they when Nicki was on come up through Pink Friday where she was emulating Missy and Lil' Kim? Why call her out on biting Gaga and Madonna? Especially Gaga, since she's basically emulating Madonna. They basically gave props to Gaga saying she executed the costume of dressing like a man. Well, if you look at her album sales and overall success of this album in comparsion to the last, you can see a decline. The more provacative and over the top her performances, videos, and costumes, the more her sales and singles suffered.

I do agree with the statement that Nicki's not an MC at the moment because of what she's released thus far from the new album. It's mostly singing with minimal rappin'.

I don't see how the folks on that video clip are surprised and how she was so dope (like they claim) in the first place.

She was always terrible IMO (sans Monster and some of her underground tracks).

Just a gimmick with the facial expressions and altering her voice, but I can't knock her hustle, it made her millions.
