Nas is one of my favorite rappers, but anyone else ever get the feeling he doesn't know as much about what he's talking about as he should? Some of his songs have some glaring inaccuracies.

yep. nas is my fav rapper and i personally think he's the greatest of all time, but sometimes that nigga leaves me scratchin my head. he has what i call 'prison knowledge' - a nigga who read a lot of books but may not have necessarily understood all of it. i dont think he's stupid, just he gets his facts backwards sometimes

Some people are intimidated by the fact that Nas deals with alot of culture specific topics that go over the heads of people who aint from our culture.

They try to write it off as "psedo-intellectual" when in actuality thats how our people build & add-on in a cipher, we throw it out there
and speak on it from different angles and digest the knowledge and throw away the rest.

If a Black man is smart enough to make it out the projects and become rich & famous in Amerika as a high-school drop-out and legally.... he is clearly
