He's in the arguement...but as a Laker fan I can't place him ahead of magic just yet...he brought them 5 championships...and has more finals mvps...and he's an embassader for the Lakers as well. But hopefully when its all said and done Kobe can do a lot more for my team.

Kobe is my favorite player now but magic was my favorite player then and is still the greatest laker. He put the lakers back on the map after years of mediocrity in the 70s. Dude played three positions in the finals when the game was way more physical and put the team on his back when kareem went down and won the finals. Tell me another player that couldve made kurt rambis look good.
