Is Junior M.A.F.I.A. one of the greatest hip hop supergroups to ever exist?

Hell no! I still bump their album, but they weren't shit without Biggie and Kim. The only classic songs they made had Biggie and I wish he could do a whole album with them.

Greatest Supergroup? I don't know about that, they only released 1 album and a mixtape album after Big Died. The only thing JM did was help Biggie's Legendary Status. Not only was Biggie alble to drop two timeless masterpiece albums but he was also to drop a solid group album that had serveral Classic songs on the album. Plus considering Biggie wrote the whole album it only makes him more Legendary. Yes Lil Kim is one of the greatest female rap artist ever but JM was like the outlaws, St. Lunitics, G-unit and all these supergroups. They all could do nothing without their main star. With that said out of all the Supergroups. Lil Kim was the most successful. G-unit's artist had 1 hot album and fell off. St. Lunnatics could do nothing without Nelly. D12 only sold cause Eminem, the albums were weak and produced no Classic rap song. Outlaws were terrible with Pac and terrible without Him. All supergroups fall off cause they shouldn't of happen. Look at Terror Squard? JM was again Biggie looking out for his people. None of them could rap even Lil Kim and Lil Cease. This is why Biggie is a Legend. He wrote CLASSIC songs for other people not just himself.

Somebody said previosly that no other members outside Kim and Big could write, WRONG. There was a guy in Junior Mafia named Kleptomaniac and he could really rhyme listen to Lyrical Wizardry on Conspiracy. With that being said no they weren't a great group just had 3 hit singles

I would not consider Junior M.A.F.I.A. a supergroup. All anyone remembers in Biggie and Kim. Other than Lil Cease, I can't name the other members. When I think of a supergroup, I think of a group that's members were successful as solo acts too, like NWA and Westside Connection. I guess I would also include Outkast and UGK on that list. I would put Junior MAFIA in the same group as D12, because without a standout member with an already successful solo career, those groups would've never been signed. Junior MAFIA wouldn't have had a deal without Biggie just like D12 certainly wouldn't have been signed without Eminem.
