Cosign t/s. No matter who was hot at any time at least one of these four was right there. Yeah Ja Rule was big in 00-03 but Jay-Z was the man during that time. When Lil Jon took over TI was the biggest name in the streets. So yeah definite cosign.

I cosign this thread...Although there were others who were just as or more dominant, who others have already named..Those four (TI, Kanye, Hova, Wayne) WERE THE MOST CONSISTENT. Every year they made a major impact..Every year.

Pretty much safe. I still feel like that BET rappers of the decade did not even represent the mainstream well and that's sad because thats all they dealt with. Honestly, Drake had no business on that list. He had not even dropped a album and his buzz was not as big as guys like Nelly, Ja Rule, or Bow Wow had at some point.

Nelly, Ja, Bow Wow, and 50 all had some huge stints in the 2000s, got to give them credit also. Funny thing is T.I.supposedly wrote for Bow Wow. Which makes his run even bigger.

Lastly, I know I will catch some flack for this but I think Wayne and Kanye are both overrated compared to T.I. and Jay Z's impact. T.I. put more people on than any of them with being the 1st one on the mainstream with that Trap Muzik movement. Jay made hit after hit. Wayne has inconsistency problems before he dropped Fireman and Go DJ,and if Kanye was not a producer he may not even be on this list, he really is nothing more than the new Dr Dre.

Jay, Kanye, Eminem, and Pharell.

Wayne only had one big album in that time span, and TI only had two.

The only other MC's I can think of that come close are Outkast because of Stankonia, Speakerboxx/Love Below, Idlewild, and Sir Lucious Leftfoot.

TI only had 2 hot albums between 2000 and 2010?

Trap Muzik, Urban Legend, KING, Paper Trails...that's 4
