u gotta think 50 and the unit had mixtapes along with albums that sold like crazy. only lil wayne and drake only had mixtapes worth listening too unlike the other niggas on the ym label.

they killed this shit on the mixtape

big difference is that 50 was just establishing himself. Wayne been established in the game for 10 plus years now and actually has a solid fan base that folks just never give him credit for b/c folks tend to think Wayne didn't exist before the Carter 1.

i understand that but im talkin about label wise. when gunit first came out they remind me of young money now as far as signing all these niggas and not hearing shit from them. and got three people thats selling in 50, yayo, banks and wayne, drake and minaj

I mean, once a rapper starts a record label that's how most of them turn out. only 2 or 3 artist from the label have success and the rest just be backround broke ass niggaz.

agree.........

yeah it seemed like g unit just came outta the wood work and took over,Wayne been around forever. I used to think wayne was whack back in the day. Even made fun of one of my boys for buying one of his pre carter cds.

Their both garbage, one is a skinny jeans metrosexual garbage, the other is a death row/bad boy records/The Lox/Wu-Tang Clan Wanna-be.
