Im surprised no one's mention how Ross did an almost direct port of MC Hammer and BMF from Albert Anastasia to Teflon Don: both in the same order. Only difference is that Gucci was added to the album version of MC Hammer. Shit, I always thought how he did that was utterly fuckin hilarious (I guess if it aint broke, don't fix it).

I got their one alias foaming at the mouth, LOL that's Power 

Speaking of 2010: MBDTF bodied that year, Kanye came wit it but Big Boi brought the heat too, How I got Over by

The Roots was the #1 joint in my critical opinion.

Teflon Don was a powerful album from 2010 also, people still discuss it two years later but I agree I would have sequenced it differently between 6-9 but looking back at the track list I can't decide what order.

(That BTS from Calliope just dropped)

Wale don't even sound like he belongs on MMG, dude sounds more like a Good Music type of nigga. His sound and style is too diverse and progressive for them imo.

Kanye doesn't like Wale

@GEE

Lex got that signature song, I wanted a Toomp joint on there, that's why when I do my ITunes playlists or burnt CDs I sometimes sequence or add/subtract songs.

On my 1 burn mix to Vol 2 I added Tats on my arm, Flexin, & Albert Pujols....another one Cartoons & Cereal.

THE MOVEMENT

I fucks with the movement because we in the cotton-candy era right now and it's necessary energy.

Death Row, Heiroglyphics, BDP, Native Tounges, No Limit, Roc A Fella, Dipset, D&D early Cash Money, Duck Down, Bad Boy,

Ruff Ryders, State Property, Def Squad, ,DTC, Murda Inc, Swisha House, Sauve House, G-Unit, Wu Tang etc, those 20 movements went beyond the music. They had movements.

I look at G.O.O.D, MMG, Young Money, TDE, Taylor Gang, A$AP, ODD Future and see similar movements to a greater or lesser degree than the Goat movements of the past, but maybe with more diversity now that HipHop has expanded and there are so many sub-genres.

The one crew I see in this era with the most staying power is G.O.O.D because similar to Ruff Ryders, Wu-Tang & Death Row they are surrounded by a super-producer in Kanye West (and they got Noi.d), plus they have a nice balance of cross-over artists like Cudi, Hudson, & Legend w/ street artists like Pusha & 2-Chainz.

I'm working on the rough draft of a book right now about HipHop movements in different regions and what they represented to the culture.
