not neccessarily.. if greatness was measured by rings.. then kareem and many other greats would be above MJ.

Rofl. 6 > 5. MJ set the standard. He played in the salary-capped, free agency era. No big man. 6 rings. He woulda won 8 straight titles if he didn't have a gambling problem. Lebron gonna have to win more rings than MJ. But I do think his career numbers will be better

You lose kareem didnt have as many rings as jordan.. Lebron has the adulation and hype hes a avery good player. future Hall of Famer.. his offensive game is too one dimensional.. .He cant kill you in the amount of way Jordan could.. He is six years in he has to earn his striped to jump over the other top 50 players let alone a MJ.. He will not be better than Jordan he will be great in his own right.. But ESPN will make him the greatest if he win a championship......

Lebron will be statistically.. the BEST PLAYER of all time.. STATISTICALLY.

explain why lebron will never be better than jordan

Not as clutch (pre-Scottie, Jordan was knocking down game winners Bron can't even buy), no real technique in the post outside of bum-rushing his way over people, sometimesy shooter, playing in a softer era than Jordan did, super-star talent isn't as there as it was during Jordan and some of the other greats era. We'll see when his career ends, but with the game on the line, I want Jerry West or Michael Jordan taking the final shot. Even now in clutch situations, I'll take Carmelo Anthony right now over Bron. The ESPN machine has overhyped him to the level that if you admit something is wrong with Bron, you're a hater when I'm not. I just think there's much he can improve on as a player and I can't give it to him over Jordan. Judging from your area though, I doubt you'll see anything beyond Bron's apparent greatness. And even as a Jordan fan, he wasn't the winner that Bill Russell was or Kareem or the stat monster that the Big O or Dr. J was during their prime.

Give the kid time.

you have to watch his every game to recognize what he does. but i will admit the defense he faced were harsh.. but defenses before he came in the league was tougher than his.. so its always changing.

but tell me this.. you dont think leborn would be lebron is MJs era??

Exactly what I was getting across. Kareem had 6 rings by the way. Most people either forget his last one with LA or his first one with the Milwaukee Bucs.

jordan>>>>>>>kobe>>>>>>>.bron

Thats my order also but kobe Bron is debatable and all depends on opinion..Bron will not pass MIKE and thats fact like dude earlier said stat wise he will and will have the greatest stats a la Favre and Marino style

I think D Wade is the best in the league to be honest

Personally, I do too. I just hate how since he carried the Heat to the ship and got Finals MVP, he's had a string of injuries which has limited his overall effectiveness...but he's a complete player...he just leans more towards the defensive side of things. He put up serious #s last year when healthy and at full and he was the 1st from Melo/Bron to win a playoff series and this was pre-Shaq

He won MVP and was the first player since Jordan to score that many points in a Finals series

Pat Riley took over mid-season and Shaq was on that team; but didn't they get blasted the 1st time they went against Detroit in the conference finals? So the whole "Shaq" argument is BS because Shaq didn't do well against Detroit's D that year. Are you denying the fear that Wade put into that entire Mavericks team after he put the game on his back in Game 3 and did something that hadn't been done since the 1977 Portland Trailblazers for that entire series? You want to talk about an epic performance? That's what Wade did in the finals, on the biggest stage, or else wouldn't that have been Shaq's 4th Finals MVP if Wade didn't play such a pivotal role? Wade put that team on his back in the Finals and that is undeniable.

Tell me, has Bron done anything that epic? I don't think so
