I said Eazy not NWA. Eazy E had a album out in 95 when Tupac and Biggie was out there beefin. I think you got your timeline fucked up cuz Rakim dropped in 87 and Run DMC dropped in 86 and 88. Biz Markie dropped in 88 and 89. Big Daddy Kane dropped in 88-90 so that shows theres was different types of hip hop that was still considered hip hop. Or was Run DMC not hip hop? Hip hop was about self expression no one ever said it was strictly bout the lyrics. Theres always been club tracks, love ,tracks etc...
