RZA's experimental album ...he used minimal samples on this album and relied on creating his own "digital" sound. I would say it is....

The lyricism on that album is on another level, better than anything out today. You can listen to it now and it sounds like it was released today a truly timeless album.

RZA has made some pretty awesome albums that get better with time. Birth of a Prince is great also but I didnt like it to tuff when it first came out. I think the 1st bob digi album is a personal classic to many but i dont htink we can call it a hip hop classic on the level of Cuban Linx or Reasonable Doubt. But its mos def a hardcore RZA head classic...

Excellent post aside from the RD drop. LOL!!!

Bob for me was so experimental Musically and outside the box that it was an instant classic album. Also, the message from going Analog to Digital being revolutionary. Oh and another thing, RZA's Bob Digi persona being his savage uncivilized side and his RZA persona being the civilized and rational side.

Yes. In a nutshell. One of those underrated classics- beats, chemistry, depth. I remember bumping that joint for weeks when it first came out.

The follow up was dope as well. Birth of a Prince, was solid but uneven. Digisnacks was the only mediocre joint.
