I'm a big AZ fan and consider him one of the most underrated MCs of all time (slighty below OC), but he's not better than Nas. In terms of lyrics and technique it's a tie. Nas wins with stronger, more diverse material and far better production and arrangement of his songs. AZ lost his style after Format, everything has been mixtape quality since then. Doe or Die is classic though and I put it in the same league as Illmatic, but just because Sosa outshined Nas on couple of songs, doesn't really mean he's better.
