The Hornets games don't even come on in Jackson. Yet the Hawks and Grizzlies do. Not sure how familiar you are with the N.O. area but they have this one area called the North Shore which is about 45 min to a Hour away. They were not showing games in there area but the people raised enough hell to get them back on. The only time folks from Jackson and other parts of MS come down is when a local player is playing or if some big name team is here. I'm sure that is common in a lot of NBA towns. Attendence is never really great. The only time attendence was good was when they made their playoff run in '08. I went to the Heat game earlier this season but the areana was not full. They called it a sellout but there were plenty of seats.
I read about the Northshore problem. they need they ass kicked for not marketing this team as a Gulfshore or even Southeast team. They marketing manager needs to commit that!

Clay Bennett's proposal was built to be shot down, he was asking too much... They will accept a remodeled Key Arena but would prefer somewhere bigger... If we get a new arena I am sure it won't even be in Seattle... Probably Bellevue or Renton... Bellevue is where most season ticket holders live anyway... But I think KC's arena is all they got goin for them... There is far more to it than just an arena... There are several factors and Seattle has a lot of positives with arena being the only negative and an easy fix for Mr. Ballmer who got money to blow......
You need to research KC. homey. There is a reason why the Royals and the Chiefs have not even thought about leaving that area. I would let Beezy tell you about them but they have the corporate backing to make it happen.
