Somebody can believe in god and evolution, just not everyone takes a book as gods word for the simple fact its not.

Exactly. Those who believe in evolution do not know the scriptures nor do they know God. I underlined the key to your statement. If people knew God personally, they would know His word and thus have knowledge of the truth.
