the problem is these newer rappers are forced to follow a protical to sell (make a song for the girls or the ignoraant act like u sell made drugs and blah blah blah)

Cosign some of what you're saying, but you took it too far naming TI, Kanye, Em, and Wayne. Those 4 rappers are nowhere near the GOAT list. They don't have the catalog, the skills, and the longevity. Also, BDK, Rakim, and Kool Mo Dee are incredibly dope. Especially BDK.

I agree that most of the old school rappers are overblown, they were not that skilled honestly. I don't care to call names but you definitely named some of them. i see where TS is comin from, some are really overrated today because they werent technical rappers. they were just the first ones really doing it so it was a lot more impressive

but i love Kool G Rap, Rakim. I always felt like LL was really simple even tho i enjoy a lot of his songs. I would never call LL the GOAT like some ppl do
