I'd be low key about it. Tell her I wanna take cooking lessons because I'm insecure about my cooking skills and tell her I want her to come with me so we can bond as a couple.

I have a shitty metabolism b I can't be eating out too much. Worse comes to worst I'll tell her she sucks at cooking and eat dinner at my mom's house every night. I can handle making lunches and breakfasts
