Then your way behind because u only heard a diss song and a group album. Joe Budden is a better solo artist than anything else. I wasn't a believer that Joe was nice until i downloaded Mood Music 3 and it changed my perception of him. You don't even have to listen to everything just give Pray For Me a listen and tell me what u think.

Na.........even with "Pump it UP" u can tell dude was nice..............dude has lyrics.........

LOL @ niggas who are glued to another man's sexual orientation and calling him a faggot. Your a faggot for concerning yourself with that shit.

anyway, Boosie doesn't do it for me. Even if I were to give him a chance, I can't get pass the voice and the delivery. Its too much. And I know from first hand artist like Boosie cause I remember niggas who used to say Joe Budden was wack just based him off Pump it Up and never even heard the first record or anything after that

True but we are talking about content. He says that the average dude from the hood can't relate to Joe Budden.

he says alot of things lol...........Dude is a bit weird

The thing I hate with people is when they relate everything thats great to hood. The reason that Joe Budden is great to me is because other than hood music which he does very well, he speaks on other things that is relatable that people who are not from the hood relate too.

Depression, Committment and lack thereof, Baby mother drama, his relationship with his mother, narcicism, etc, etc.

Dude has amazing candor and emotion and he has the eminem quality where if your fan of his music u know everytghing about him.

Like I said in another thread, the hood is the foundation but its not the end all be all of Hip Hop.

It only takes one song for you to truly relate to an artist. Stop being close minded about music thats the last thing you shoundn't be open to....

heard it and i still think Buddens not as dope without SH

now Joell Ortiz, Crooked and Royce another story

People from the hood can relate to Joe Budden, but he does not simply focus on "hood issues", the man is not afraid to share more of himself with those who listen to his music. At the moment, I think Joe is putting out the best music. He can hang with anyone lyrically, and he speaks on diverse topics and is honest for the most part in his music (may be a bit soft), if you like lyrics you probably will like Joe.

As for Boosie, his voice is annoying, and there is nothing about his music that makes it appealing to me, no matter how "real" he is, it just is not enjoyable. Gotta have more than just street cred and a rep imo.

Its 2010. Hip Hop isnt just music for the hood anymore. Its bigger than that. So equating a rapper's skill to his hood clout is retarted.

What makes the song ok... which means average? the beat is wack, what he talkin about isn't relateable? What is it? i'm tryin to understand why u don't like him as a rapper. And honestly i don't think u listened to the song.

dude i never said i dont like him as a rapper

i simply said i dont feel him as much as a solo rapper

he ok solo but you gotta remember he the weak link in Slaughterhouse

how hard is it to get the song is ok based off my listen

Because with Quotes like... "God i don't mean to be rude but you let skinny niggaz starve give OBESE niggaz food."

that was an ok line but not as big as you makin it

Joe Budden is easily the best in slaughterhouse followed closely by Royce. What it is that Joe Budden is so candid that people tend to dislike him because he says whatever he feels and niggas get mad at that

If a faggot like Gravitation is waving his poms poms for a sissy like Boosie, it's best to avoid dude's material....
