Tupac and Biggie are way to influenital from them to be erased. If they didn't exsist it would cause a Hip Hop Time Paradox, that's how Big they were. Jay Z and NaS both followed Biggie's blueprint but they did contribute a lot to Hip Hop. Outkast brought the south to the mainstream artisically, commerically and lyrically. Out of everyone on the list. KanYe is by far the least influencial. Rza and Premo as well as Dilla was flippin soul samples a full decade before KanYe. KanYe's rhyming style is heavily influenced by Jay Z who was heavily influenced by Biggie so KanYe is apart of that family tree. Again Ye is clearly one of my favorite artist of all time but out of this list, he has had the least influenced. But I would delete no one, I really don't see the point of this thread honestly.

The funny thing about this thread is all of these cats made MAJOR contributions to hip hop. You may say Kanye, but if u add all the music he produced before his first album you would have to add him in too

But again people hate the fact they forever loved and their spots are untouchable, it's their way to lash out against History. If you take away "Ready To Die", the West still dominates. Sorry, Biggie is essential for Jay and NaS to even blow like they eventually did. As Classic as "ILLmatic" and "36 Chambers" were, they did not do that well commercially to compete with what Dre and Snoop was doing. It took "Ready To Die" that had the critical and commercial acceptance to take the East to the next level. Therefor erasing Biggie sets the East back, His Limited catalog on accents his importance cause his 2 LP's changed the game. With the exception of what NaS did for Lyrics on his debut, most people on this list did not change Hip Hop on their 1st two albums like Biggie did.
