Illmaitc = Reasonable Doubt

IWW > Vol 1

I Am < Vol 2

Nastradamus < Vol 3

Stillmatic > Roclafamilia

Godson < Blueprint

Street Disciple = Blueprint 2

HHID < Black Album

Untitled > Kindome Come

American Gangster

BP3

I don't even know why ya'll even count Lost Tapes of an album. Shit ain't nothing but left over tracks from I Am. Jay has been more consistent in the fact that he has never had a period of falling the fuck off peoples radar, has made more classics imo, and even his wack shit ain't as wack as Nas's shit.

Name his classics please

I count Lost Tapes as an album because...it's a great album, regardless of it being leftover tracks from I Am.. and Stillmatic sessions. If you're judging Jay-Z's consistency on his popularity then yeah, i cosign. But musically Hov doesn't outclass Nas in consistency. And i prefer Nas' wack shit over Hov's wack shit any day, BP3 was a retail Techno mixtape *disgust*.

I swear you would think 2Pac never existed. Duke has nothing but great-classic albums. Dropped one of the best, if not the best, double albums in rap history. Yet a nigga with duds and probably the worst double album is ahead of him? Fuck a Jay-z, Pac kills this thread. Effortlessly.

That's how bad Nas beat Jay-Z during the beef. Now when Jay fans hear people say Nas is GOAT they catch feelings

Lol, never looked at it that way.

I gotta to be the only cat who likes nas & Jigga always have, aint no preference they both raw mc's 2 of the best ever

When they battled I thought hov merked him then heard ether and nas won

Never changed my opinion on jigga still bumped him

I'm the only nigga in my area who listens to nas heavy, the streets do not embrace him like they do jay-z

I'm a fan of both.

Most of the people who hate Jay are just mad cuz their favorite rapper was mad: Game, Cam, Pac, Nas, whoever and they try to hide it behind some pseudo-pan-Africanism.

Blueprint 3 was ceiling fan objectile, just a garbage, garbage album.

Never in your life will you see Nas put out something so poppy and commercial.

Never.

Maybe because he was not that nice on the technical aspects, and Jay/Nas has had just as many classics and more.

Niggas act like you can't fuck with Jay AND Nas. I like both them niggas. I think overall, Jay is a far better rapper and Nas is a far better MC. And I think Nas won that beef hands down. I think even Jay knows that, to be honest. He's got bars about it! (in my opinion anyway)

That's what I'm saying. Nobody is shitting on Pac, B. He just wasn't as nice as MC as either Jay or Nas.

I know niggas personally who only listen to Pac being in the car with them is terrible.

Pac got alot of songs that almost sound identical.

I know he got his standout tracks and whatever, but so many songs sound the same its unbelievable.

Its repetitive and deals with the same topics.

Lost tape is not a fucking album. counting that shit as a album would be the equivallent to counting Pac's greatest hits as a album. It's not original material!

Musically Jay easilly outclasses Nas, he consistently makes a effort to switch up the sound of his music, his flow, etc and that's why he has managed to stay in the spotlight as opposed to Nas. Nas has been making the same sounding albums since Stillmatic if we are being honest. You can talk techno all you want but sonically NASTRADAMUS is way worst. The only decent tracks on that album was Come and get me, and project windows.

Sometimes when Pac rappin it just see like he can't ride the beat and c/s Blank on a lot of Pac's songs sounding the same.

The Lost Tapes is an album, it's just not an LP. And Greatest Hits is an album that had material that was already released, for the most part...while The Lost Tapes had material that previously wasn't available to the public, retail wise. How is The Lost Tapes not original material?

Easily outclasses Nas? nah, major no-sign. And Hov stayed in the spotlight because his music is more mainstream, and he uses who is hot at time to give him an extra edge. Untitled, HHID, and even Distant Relatives sound nothing like Stillmatic. I can fuck with Nastradamus a lot more, only tracks that i can stomach on BP3 is On to the Next One and Run This Town. Project Windows is that shit too :) both versions.
