I've got Nas at #1 most of the time.

Theres a lot of other rappers who you could argue belong there.

Everybody isnt built to listen to Nas. Depends on what you listen to Hip Hop for.

I listen to everything I dont limit myself to one album or one artist's music..

And I'm not these people to frown upon the modern rap scene I just weed out the bad shit and listen to the decent material.

In other words, anybody and everybody with ears can tell Nas is a great, the greatest rapper to do it.

BIG had only two albums worth of material. I'm an avid Biggie supporter and have his albums but his material was too limited.

Jay Z?

He got infamously ethered by Nas over a Ron Browz banger and he has put out some of the most dissapointing albums ever imaginable for a rapper of his stature since Black Album.

Lyrically he is a genius, I can pull out a hundred examples off my favorite Nas album "It Was Written".. but I'm sure you familiar with it.

People like to pick on the greats with this Nas Lost bullshit, Kelis this and Carmen that.. we talking strictly rap music here.

Common is a more authentic version of Nas. Take away Nas' imaginary crack sales and gun talk and you have Common.

I've seen them both in concert and Common's live show >> Nas.

The only thing putting Nas ahead is quantity and Illmatic.
