Revelation 13:7

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Once you realize the "rapture" isn't going to happen you will understand during the tribulation period the saints of the Most High will be tested, tried & killed for standing their grounds not to worship the "beast"... but check this out

Matthew 24:22

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

& He tell us to do this

Revelation 14:12 (King James Version)

12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Those that are truly keeping His commandments will not feel His wrath when he return.. its' all about beign obedient to His word... it's prophecy that the aod & his armies will war against the saints & prevail during their time in power...it is what it is... but again those who truly understand will flee during that time period, nothing will be raptured off bro.

How do you interpret this verse of scripture, in respect to the tribulation period aka the day of the Lord aka the day of wrath aka the time of jacobs trouble aka that great and terrible day, etc......

"For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 5:9

Now if you are a diligent student of the word of God, you would read the whole chapter and see that there is a distinction made between those who are in the light and those who are in the dark. So how can anybody truly tell me that God has appointed His church, which was purchased by the precious blood of Christ and cleansed, to experience His wrath which will be poured out on a sinful and rebellious world during the tribulation period?

No "hell" but heaven basically.

You are referencing a future time. What I am talking about is what will happen before the tribulation period.

I firmly believe that billions upon billions of people will come to know the Lord during the tribulation period and they are the ones who will be beheaded for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

But prior to the tribulation period even starting, the rapture must take place because the Holy Spirit has to be removed from the earth before the antichrist is revealed. The Holy Spirit indwells believers, so once He is removed at the rapture, the antichrist will be revealed. The sctriptures plainly teach this.

"7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:" 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8

Now tell me if God has purchased us with the blood of His son, what purpose does the church have by going through the tribulation period? What would be the point in the eyes of God? He poured out His wrath on His Son at calvary so that we could be forgiven. So why would He pour out His wrath again on those who believe on His Son? What type of sense does that make?

first show me where the rapture will take place before the tribulation period or any scripture that speaks of a rapture at any time....

the wrath of the Most High will come after the tribulation period, so the wrath the saints will go thru will be between the nations not GOD..

1. You already know the word is not in the scriptures, but that doesn't mean that it's not implied. You can see teachings of the rapture throughout the Bible. Start with Noahs flood. Enoch was translated (representing the church), Noah and his family was spared (representing those who will survive the tribulation period) and the rest were killed (representing non-believers).

How bout in the book of Daniel with shadrach, meschach, and abednego. Daniel was spared because he wasn't there (representing the church), the 3 boys were spared (representing those who will survive the tribulation).

Those are just a few examples. Now if you want to see something in the new testament, we can go to the book of Revelation. After the 7 letters to the churches of Asia minor the church is not mentioned until chapter 22. From chapter 6-19 (the tribulation) the church is nowhere to be found. Why? Because God told the church in Chapter 4 to come up to heaven.

"1After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne." Revelation 4:1-2

John, who is a representation of the church symbolizes the rapture. Thats why he hears a trumpet, which signifies the voice that will be heard when those who believe in Christ will be called to meet the Lord in the air.

Also the door that is open in heaven is the door that is open to the 6th church in chapter 3, which is the last faithful church before the tribulation.

"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." Revelation 3:7-13

This is just the surface my friend. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truth to you. Only He can take the things of God and make them real unto you.

2. So the bowls of wrath mentioned in Revelation are not part of the wrath of God?
