MMG or GOOD Music

You get a lot of creative freedom, promo, and the bosses at both places look out for their artist.

Good rosters, and good music comin from both

i thought about saying the Jets because of how Spitta came up as an independent artist he'll be hella useful for advice, but then thought about Roddy n Sky DIver like n wonder why i don't really hear they names like that...

but u made some good points bruh

Cuz they're mediocre bruh, plain and simple. They're not complete trash on the mic but they aren't fundamentally sound as MC's and are derivative of a style and subject matter that Currensy does a million times better. IF Roddy and Tre (and Fiend, and Mikey Rocks, and Smoke DZA, and....) were really good MC's I think they could thrive in the market.

Either GOOD music or MMG. If you go back and listen to Big Sean Finally Famous album the production was excellent with NO ID producing most of the album great sounding album if you ask me.

None. It seems you would be better off doing you and getting a distribution deal later on or get a creative control one album deal like Tyler the Creator or The Cool Kids. What people don't understand is the label don't do a whole lot for you, you still gotta do a lot of the work but then they taking all the masters, copywrites and putting you in debt. I think its more important to have a decent manager with industry connections then to be on a label.

c/s much respect, how do i go about of finding a solid manager

I would sign with DuckDown. They have a strong lineup to go along with all of the Boot Camp releases. And they are one of the most respected indie labels out.

G-Unit - They'll give you creative control, not to mention Eminem, Dr.Dre, Lloyd Banks, and there's a very good chance nobody would fuck with you outside the label. Not to mention look at how many outlets Fif got - Thisis50, BooBooTV, books, movies, international touring, endorsements (investments outside of music), philanthropy and you need money for a promo ? No problem Fif got a $10 million dollar fund ready for you. Nigga did one track with Jeremih & it became a number one hit. Jeremih made $4 million just off the digital sales of "Down On Me"...

G.O.O.D Music - As long as Camel Hov stay the fuck away from me or anything pertaining to my business... as Bawse said, it'd be pretty hard NOT to make a good album on there LOLOL.

SionB please don't sabotage your career by signing to G-Unit!

That label is cursed, no artist on G-Unit has had a successful sophomore album....one and done.

M.O.P got shelved

Hot Rod flopped

Mobb Deep flopped

Olivia got dropped

Spider Loc flopped

40-Glocc flopped

Tony Yayo flopped

Lloyd Banks one & done

When was the last time you heard a hit record from out of that camp? You wanna end up like Young Buck or Bang Em Smurf?

You want to be on a label were your Boss gets bossed around by Emenim, Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine?

After all of 50-Cents complaints about his label situation you want to go to G-Unit......tragic.
