Cuz they're mediocre bruh, plain and simple. They're not complete trash on the mic but they aren't fundamentally sound as MC's and are derivative of a style and subject matter that Currensy does a million times better. IF Roddy and Tre (and Fiend, and Mikey Rocks, and Smoke DZA, and....) were really good MC's I think they could thrive in the market.

What people don't understand is the label don't do a whole lot for you, you still gotta do a lot of the work but then they taking all the masters,copywrites and putting you in debt. I think its more important to have a decent manager with industry connections then to be on a label.
