I feel like the genre needs to be expanded beyond just calling everything hip hop. Even rock has a few subgenres and I feel like some of the hate for some of these "rappers" is because they are labeled hip hop artists when they clearly aren't trying to be

I give every artist a chance and if I dont like it I dont listen to it again.

I've seen niggas on here shit on some of these cats for being wack (for ex. Drake threads) but push a thread to 20 pages about said artist. Cats like that I always considered undercover fans.

I agree with this but Drake is wack as far as rapping but some of his songs sound good overall unlike just plain wack rappers like the lames I constantly hear on the net ...I don't even know any of these new rappers name
