Funny you say this and I´ll explain why this will never happen.Because colour is not important.Like homie said above jews usto walk miles to buy from his own people.Black people need there own ``click``.Being black is not enough you gotta have a ``clan``.For example I´m black brazilian but I usto shop in a brazilian market in the U.S because I had something in common with other brazilians besides my colour. All kinds of brazilians usto shop there from black to white. It´s beyond colour it´s deeper than that.

No sign. From what I've heard from native Brazilians, and read, Afro-Brazilians or black Brazilians get shitted on.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afro-Brazilian

Blacks are under-represented in telenovelas, which have the largest audience of Brazilian television. The Brazilian soap operas, as well as throughout Latin America, are accused of hiding the Black and Indian population and to make almost entirely white casts, usually as upper middle-class people. Brazil produces soap operas since the 1960s, but it was only in 1996 that a black actress, Taís Araújo, was the protagonist of a telenovela, the role of the famous slave Chica da Silva. In 2002, Araujo was protagonist of another soap, being the only Black actress to have a more prominent role in a TV production of Brazil. The black actors in Brazil are usually required to follow stereotypes usually as subordinate and submissive roles, as maids, drivers, servants, bodyguards, and poor favelados.

The same thing we went through in America y'all went through in Brazil.

Yea I've seen "Black in Brazil". White Brazilians act like racism against Black Brazilians doesn't exist.

Fair enough.

Dope drop.

If Black Nationalism had achieved what Malcolm set out to do the whole world not just the United States would be different.

Remember at this time there were revolutions popping off in Africa. Europe was gettin ran out of there. Imagine if we over here had linked up with them over there. If Black Nationalism had succeeded, Blacks would've taken back the throne. We would have become the superpower because we would have control over every major resource that the world uses to this very day.

It's why when these Black elites betray the movement for their 30 pieces of silver it saddens me because it's like what are you thinking, you'd give up a whole kingdom for these measly riches and at the end of the day still gotta kiss ass just to keep what you got?

See here is the thing tho....You from Brazil. So that what yall had in common. That home land unity. Blacks in America dont have that. We barely know who we are or who we want to be. The only thing we have in common is that our ancestors were slaves. At least you being from Brazil gave you a reason to frequent the Brazilian shop.

It could happen, but like you said it probably won't because of the way things are operated here in the states.

The black community was so much more unified b4 desegregation SMH

That is a very often quoted myth...the black community was not some monolithic force with one mindset and way of doing things or even close to that before desegregation...there were still problems that caused people to bicker...there was disagreements during the Civil Rights Era about how things should be handled...there were issues of sexism, classism, etc. as well within the Civil Rights Movement in the US...

I never said there were no problems b4 desegregation, I said the black community was more unified then than it is now

That's the old Malcolm though...

When he came back from Mecca he wasn't too much about nationalism

Malcolm found out the truth...it doesn't boil down to color lines and barriers

It comes down to teachings, ignorance, isolation, victimization and class structure

When Malcolm came back from Mecca and saw people of all colors united in a belief

When he stepped out of the country and seen the horseshit that western society commits to

That's what changed his perspective. But before unity with all colors he wanted black folks to find their identity. White folks began inquiring about joining his movement. He preferred that each race correct the problems within first. He suggested that white folks open up their own chapters designed to teach the truth of equality.

Peep his autobiograhpy...Malcolm X was on to something and they silenced him. Malcolm would have changed many things that would not have been allowed.

Think about it...homosexuality, pop music, gentrification, Trayvon Martin-I truly believe if Malcolm was not assassinated, these things would not have been as strong and in the same bed as they are today. Hell, his impact is still felt and heard.

Malcolm X, one of the greatest. Sad but true, if you didn't get popped in that era, you weren't about the struggle. (ahem, jesse and al...I'm talking about you)

I never said there were no problems b4 desegregation, I said the black community was more unified then than it is now

My point was, people have re-written history to make it seem as if black folks were all on the same page pre desegregation and it wasn't like that...no where close...hell there's STILL some old black folks til this day who take issue with some very historical events that are major parts of teh Civil Rights Movement, Rosa Parks entire situation just for an example...yes there was unity but it's often overstated just how unified the black community actually was

And if Malcom X's dream actually had happened, it would lead to black folks having more access to things which would also lead to more of a mainstream society's acceptance of certain things deemed "black"...it wouldn't keep black folks separate and free from needing to interact with white folks like some think...

Everything that I wanted to say has been said already. If jews, who are only 2% of the population, can run shit, why can't us blacks, who are 13% of the population, take this shit over?

Everything boils down to nationality. Blacks in America are unlike any other demographic. We don't know how many tribes and languages we were from in Africa (no folks, Africa is not one language or country) that slaves came from. Jamaicans have their own shit, Nigerians have their own shit, Brazilians have their own shit. They send their kids to colleges and achieve a lot. Its American blacks that are the most fucked up ones mentally speaking. Malcolm post pilgrimage had the answer to most of the problems, but he got clapped.

Race is gonna be irrelevant in the next 30 years since everyone in America is gonna be mixed race. It boils down to nationality, not race or sub-group. Even the Jews are gonna take a back seat to the Asians soon.

Pretty much...people will always group themselves based on having the most like qualities...you can even see it in posts people on the IC make to each other...it's all "black love, we black folks need to stick together"...but that can be thrown off by a simple "Fuck them New Yorkers" or "ATL is the new gay capital"...now it becomes a regional thing...then it can become state to state once you get into "Fuck them New Jersey niggas"..."Fuck them NY niggas"......then city to city, town to town...etc...race won't be the ultimate way people bring themselves together...it's a starting point but it's not enough

It's simple. No nigga is going to unite with another nigga to make a "better" place. The first response you get is a look like "this nigga".

You see it on the boards everyday. When niggas argue, niggas go at each other's throats.

And every nigga wants to be a capo or the boss. Niggas don't know their place. Alot niggas talking this boss shit is nowhere near a bosses mentality, let alone capable of leading people and being the voice of them. And niggas are too worried about showing off.

White folks have discussions and they are patient with each other. They listen. And then once they have found that they are wrong in arguments, they immediately apologize and comradery ensues. They learn something new.

Lol, not our people though. Its fuck you, fuck you. Then if we wrong, we don't have any response. Now we feel one upped and we go about our business, dissolving the possibility of growth and unity.

Any one who thinks that a higer percentage of mixed people is going to remove the importance of race in america is fooling themselves. Brazil and most of latin america is mixed and. Black people are still at the bottom. In the future america will be the anglo saxon version of brazil, that's it and that will be a nightmare for black america

Hmmm will have to put ourselves in a position like Sun Tzu suggested to do with troops.

Place Black people in a position where there is no retreat the only choice is to come together to fight. Backs up against the wall figuratively speaking.
