I spent 5k, for the first one then 10 for the replacement. Both princess cut single diamond, first was 1 carat the second is 1 1/4 carat.

Not that it was necessary but I felt like I was buying it for me.

No need to spend out of your budget just cop something you can be proud of.

curious...... why something "you" can be proud of?

Why give someone something your self conscious about? If you feel like you did your best regardless of price you should be proud. I understand people don't put the same value on things, but if you are going to place value in it then do it right.

i guess i am trying to find out why you would feel self conscious about a ring she has to wear.

outside of you tried your best....that should be good enough.. but what would be considered your best?

making sure you dont have money left to give to it?

making sure you like how it looks on her?

not trying to give you shit...just trying to understand

Take the Katt Williams route.

Tell her she got two choices: either she gets ONE expensive ass ring or 50 inexpensive rings from Wal-Mart and mall kiosks in all kind of shapes, sizes, and colors. If she really about that bread, she'll chose the latter.

I don't give people anything I wouldn't give myself. She got to wear that ring everyday, why give something she may be grateful for but doesn't really like.

Dont be no fool spending all that money. Get a 2 karat ring with a great cut and clarity for 2k and under. Hell if u got a slim Chick with smaller fingers a smaller karot gonna look bigger and they won't even know it.

I bought my engagement ring and set for that in 2010. I got discounts being a marks and Morgan account holder for a min but u can get them in that range. The whole set added up to 2 karats. Not just the engagement ring. They be getting over tho cuz u dont need to break all that bread on huge karats that don't look right on a small finger
