I was agreeing with you, but somehow you didn't see that.....The rankings is bullshit if FSU can be ranked for a 7 and whatever season and Boise can be ranked as high as they are with the weak schedule they play.

I dont agree with you I believe Boise St is worthy of its ranking based on what its done on the field for several years....a team like Florida State being ranked after a 7 season is not worthy imo...

they're out of conference schedule was ULM (lousiana-monroe) Wyoming, UTEP, and UCF (central florida)

now i dont give a fuck what your conference schedule is. those 4 games agasint those cupcakes dont count at all.

but if texas wins all their game, since they are texas...they're gonna coast right into the national championship game

now boise goes out and schedules a virginia tech and oregon state...but we'll kill them for their conference schedule being trash

That's the thing though. Its not that Boise St. doesn't play 10 ranked opponents. Its that the they play the lower tier teams in college football. The move to the Mountain Wes will help them cause they have clearly outgrown the WAC but I would have loved to see them move to the now depleted Big 12.

Some of you all are missing the point. Boise St. is ranked #3 now which is great but if by the end of the year the Big 12 champion is undefeated they are going to leap frog Boise State. If Iowa beats OSU and goes undefeated they are going to leap frog Boise St. If the Pac 10 champion is undefeated and is not USC they are going leap frog Boise St. No one is arguing that Boise St. is a capable team. But the fact remains that they are going to have to be one of two undefeated teams to make it to the tittle game. If there are three undefeated teams and two of those teams are from the SEC, Big 12, Big 10, Pac 10 or even ACC guess what? Boise St. gets left out of the picture. Is it fair? No but so long as there are politics involved in deciding who plays for the tittle game the "big boys" get first dibs at the dinner table.

Texas can play those teams because they play Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Mizzou, and a serious (serious meaning throw out team records when they meet) rivalry game in Texas A&M. Boise has to schedule decent teams outside of conference because they play no body inside of conference. Are you seriously going to say that collectively Boise St plays better teams than Texas? You would be a retard if you said so. Like I said it sucks for Boise. They play who they play and win. But at the end of the day their resume just doesn't stack up to other teams. The system is designed to keep them out of the championship.

Ya'll do realize that those small teams get payed for playing those games right........So you think Boise will Pay Texas to come to Boise and play.....They can't afford to pay what Texas would lose for not playing at home. That's bad business.

Big12 is where they need to go...to really be taken serious for their schedule and week to week play.
