If Boise St. goes undefeated

Why would a Texas or Bama travel to fucking Boise....they wouldn't benefit from that.

IF there so much better than Boise state then they shouldnt have any reservations about playing in a Statdium Boise St rarely lose in if anything losing a close game on a road against a ranked opponent is a million times better than losing in the same fashion at home.

Even if they dont have to go to Boise most still wont schedule a home game against them.

Bottom line Boise would beat anybody anywhere. Shit Kansas loss to fuckin North Dakota ST. I know they would give would give Alabama and Ohio St a game would they win don't know but they have proven they can play with anybody. Virginia Tech was a top 10 team and beat them. Nobody was saying nothing when USC was dominating a very weak Pac 10 the last couple years with the exception of Oregon and Cal. And Texas and Oklahoma literally walks through the Big 12 most years with the exception of of a upstart Nebraska team. But they leaving next year so it's going to get easier. If Boise is undefeated and and Ohio ST or Alabama lose best believe they should be in.

exactly...other than the red river dance....Texas and OU always play one decent non conference opponet, followed by cupcakes, and than each other....the only reason it isnt as scruntinized is b/c they end up playing for a conference chip at the end of the year(which most of the time is a rematch anyway)...USC was playing in a weak ass Pac-10 for the past 4-5 years and went to the show at least 3 times in that span

If Bama lose to who, San Jose St? I always called the Pac-10 weak, and still is, I would respect BSU a lot more if they were in The Pussy Ass Conf(Pac-10) instead of The Wack Ass Conf(WAC).

alot of these teams are seriously afraid to lose to a team like boise

we as fans think boise is a good team..a great team in most cases. but the NCAA as a whole views them as just another WAC team...so if texas goes up there and loses to boise, that'd hurt them in the eyes of the voters more so than a loss @ nebraska or @ oklahoma. if texas went 11-1, but that one lost was to boise, they would have no shot at a title..

Ya'll do realize that those small teams get payed for playing those games right........So you think Boise will Pay Texas to come to Boise and play.....They can't afford to pay what Texas would lose for not playing at home. That's bad business.

Some of you all are missing the point. Boise St. is ranked #3 now which is great but if by the end of the year the Big 12 champion is undefeated they are going to leap frog Boise State. If Iowa beats OSU and goes undefeated they are going to leap frog Boise St. If the Pac 10 champion is undefeated and is not USC they are going leap frog Boise St. No one is arguing that Boise St. is a capable team. But the fact remains that they are going to have to be one of two undefeated teams to make it to the tittle game. If there are three undefeated teams and two of those teams are from the SEC, Big 12, Big 10, Pac 10 or even ACC guess what? Boise St. gets left out of the picture. Is it fair? No but so long as there are politics involved in deciding who plays for the tittle game the "big boys" get first dibs at the dinner table.
