Because the BCS system is extremely gay for that.

How many undefeated seasons does a team need for these fuckers to stop brushing them off?

they can't be gay because bama is the #1 team in the country and ohio st is the #2 team in the country.

if bama and ohio st goes undefeated, they will be in the BCS title game

outside of Oklahoma who does Texas really have to play?...same with Oklahoma and Nebraska?(other than each other all three play 2 ranked opponets to BSU's 1..and again no one with a certified ranking year in and year out wants to play them)...the only thing BSU should've done was schedule this game later in the year so it's still fresh in peoples mind come December

Those teams are alot stronger than what BSU plays......Texas Tech, Texas A&M.... other teams have their years Mizzu, Kansas

If they do get in and play a Alabama and get rolled by 2 or 3 tds then all u hear is they didn't belong. But if they make it and win you'll neva hear the end of it

i do recall utah beating bama in the 2009 sugar bowl by 14

Lets start with getting out of the WAC.....at least join the Big 12 or Pac-10......if not fuck'em......Boise can play with any team because they beat VT?

i'm sure they'd like to get out of the WAC but the fact is thats where they are. and yes i'm convinced Boise can hang within 2 td's of any team in america. shit they won every game last year, including one over oregon and another over one of the best teams last year, TCU. and that trend carried over to beating VT, at a less than neutral site

i'll agree with the bolded...they should've joined the pac-10 this year IMO(but wasnt invited....im sure USC was happy abou that)

Boise can play with anyone b/c they've proven it on TV and they have a pretty impressive record vs top 25 teams in the last 4 years(starting with a win over OKlahoma in a BCS bowl game)

they going to the MWC next year so'll they have tcu in their conference; but utah and byu will be gone...if those 2 teams stayed and they played each other every year and 1 of them was undefeated then you can make a strong case for them playing in the title game

They don't want to leave the WAC, they like their chances with the formula they have......People are still harping on the win against OU 3yrs ago........Who the fuck is Oregon or TCU.....They should rematch TCU in the Outback Bowl this yr.......VT gave them a 17 point spread and they barely won that....

I just don't think one tough game a yr, mean you should be thrown into National Champions picture.......Bama went undefeated regular season 2 yrs straight. Does the WAC even have Championship game?

all those teams are only good...IN THE BIG 12.....outside of thier conference those teams suck and im pretty sure BSU can hang with all 4 and most likely beat them...again outside of each other who does Oklahoma and Nebraska have to play that gives thier schedule more strength than BSU's....Texas has these two on thier schedule back to back so that would help them out but if one or both fo them fall off sometime before the season ends thier schedule is just as weak as BSU's

SOS would be better, but not by much..really isn't an upgrade.

the big 10 or pac 10 don't have championship games either so whats your point?

its not based solely off of the VT game....this has been a process in the making since they beat Oklahoma(whom many thought was going to crush them which is why it's still being bought up)....49-4 in 4 years speaks volumes they should at least get a shot at the chip(compared to OSU's 43-7 record in the same span that included two trips to the championship game)

Bullshit.....Have you even seen BSU schedule(thats weak) give the Big 12 a lil more credit.........If BSU join the Big 12 or Pac-10 today, they would struggle compared to what they been doing. It would take atleast 3yrs before they could get back to what they are now. I give them credit, they can play that 1 big game a year, but I dont think they can do it in a better conference for a whole season.

They at least have better competition than the WAC.....oh and trust Big 10 and Pac10 are weak too.

yes i've seen BSu's, Texas, Neb, and OU's...they're all pretty much the same 1 or 2 ranked opponents and cupcakes the rest of the the way.....you really think BSU would struggle against TT, TAMU, Mizzou, KU, & KSU...the same way Texas and OU do year in and year out?.....lol...really?...it might be harder for them to go undefeated but they would still have the same success they have now IMO
