Umm I see no problem with myself.

I was in a long term relationship when it ended. Dealt wit others afterwards, but I couldn't jump in a relationship wit them. So I'm just chillin. I'm not gonna just jump in a relationship just to do it.

My older sister is 37, never been married, no kids.

To her credit, she was in a long term relationship that ended badly, but still..

I think her problem is she's always trying to pick fixer-uppers, when she could easily have something right off the lot.

Definitely not your usual white woman.

The person could be highly selective and/or intolerant of certain things that come with serious relationships.

And no (to those who draw fallacious conclusions), being selective is not about thinking you're "better" than others.

Eh..I think you got some emotional baggage and it's got you bitter.

Just my observation. =)

I choose to stay single because:

1. My focus is on God

2. My focus is on raising my daughter to be a God fearing virtuous woman

3. I don't want to fornicate.

Being in a relationship is easy. But when you have a child, you just can't be hopping in and out of relationships with all types of women. I have to lead by example and I will not let my daughter see her Dad with every Susan, mary, and Jane in town. The next woman that comes into the lives of me and my daughter will be my wife. But if the LORD has other plans for me than having a wife, Praise God! By His grace I am content to live a life of celibacy, if that's what my lot is. Amen.

Fixer-Upper? Someone who is broke and needs guidance?

Yeah, just men that don't say long-term, barring a miracle.

Like the dude in the pic I posted of her, dude had a drug problem. Great looking, had his Master's, great paying job, but he would be okay and then he'd just disappear for a week.

Current dude she's talking to is a professional windsurfer in HAWAII. I mean really?

My baby is never going to have cousins. =(

if you keep my identity a secret so I'm not getting hit with child support I can knock her up for ya.

Life of celibacy sounds WOAT.

Stop wearing them tiny tanks and cut your beard and virtuous women will flock I'm sure.

wait, you had a child out of wedlock? Fornicator.

Most people spend so much time reaching out instead of reaching in, by the time they are 30 they've racked up so many Ls that they think that's the norm (for everyone) and look at you a little strange if you haven't.

Orrrr it may be that it's been the norm since like the beginning of time to get married and have some kids at least by 32 or so.

Nothing wrong with it per say, just different.

No. Unless they're just dying to be in a relationship but can't find anyone then I might think there's something off about them.

From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, I am sin. But thank God Almighty that He rescued me from the pit of destruction when I cried out to Him! Now that i know better I do better.

"When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me." 1 Corinthians 13:11

Amen.
