well considering that nobody expected friday to be such a hit that it was and that chris tucker was hardly known in any movies its understandable. chris tucker didnt want to do the second one because he didnt want his nephews to see him as smokie and think that was cool. but oddly enough he played a drag queen queer whatever in the 5th element. Money wasnt an issue because chris tucker did a couple of movies before rush hour that i know he wasnt paid millions to be in.

people sign contract before the movie is released. if Chris was cool with 5K when he signed then fuck him. Shouldn't have played himself short if he felt he deserved more. I say the same for atheletes who pull that same BS and hold out for a new contract just because they played better than they originally expected they would.

I agree he should be paid more money for the sequels but not for the original. The first Friday was low budget and no one expected it to be a huge hit

The way I see it, once Friday became a big hit, Cube should've broke him off with a lil bit more dough...Once the success took off, Cube knew a sequel was possible. Should've broke Tucker off...
