I don't play it but I get why its so popular. You gotta understand the there was no good multiplayer fps on a console before Goldeneye. All the shooters like Zero Tolerance (which I did like) were single player or on rails and pretty crap compared to pcs doom, hexen, duke nukem, etc. Plus the fact it was based on a $350 million movie, it pretty much came with a fan base.
