I would just like to take the time out to say Eric Cantor is a world class prick.

Here I wasn't really concerned about the govt of DC, so you might be right, as....

the citizens aka community leaders of DC, getting proactive regarding Obama's jobs plan, is what enticed me to link up that article.
did you even READ the article you posted? for starters, you've got a picture of DC's mayor, who's clearly part of DC's government. then we have:

--"District of Columbia officials" (sounds like the government)

--"D.C. Chamber of Commerce" (known for endorsing DC's current government)

--and again, "Mayor Vincent Gray"

look, i hope whatever they're cooking up works out, but the fact remains that i would not rely on the government of DC to do anything in line with "exposing dishonesty"

I thought you were taking a dig, at Capitol Hill...
i am pretty sure my post said "the government of DC." as in, not the federal government. also as in "the people being discussed in the article you posted."

I also hope you find a way to lose some of the doubt you have for WashDC's nigg citizens, having success with this effort
okay, so you're really just responding to me after not reading what i posted, right?

my doubt is for the government of DC, which includes its mayor and its government officials, and probably extends to any businessmen with whom they have cozy relationships. you may not be aware of this, but Gray's administration is not looking squeaky clean currently. this doubt has nothing to do with the average citizens of DC, which is PROBABLY why i posted "if you knew anything about the government of DC, you would know that "exposing dishonesty" is NOT what they are in the business of doing": a statement that clearly refers to DC's government.

Taxes were raised during the Clinton days and guess what? 21 million jobs were created. When will Republicans have the balls to admit they're wrong? Again, Obama spends too much money and I agree with that but when are we going to see a Republican job bill?? They've yet to send any job legislation forward since taking the House, I wonder why.

the government cant create jobs but create the conditions to get the private sector to invest in the economy. they have passed "jobs" bills. moratoriums on regulations, cut cap and balance. tim scott proposed a bill to stop the union association from blocking boeing from creating a factory in south carolina. eric holder is blocking at&t from repatriating money back to the us. why wont obama go look into the health care bill and get rid of the regulations that are causing the uncertainty in the economy. those bills are floating around in the senate. harry reid isn't doing anything, not even adding amendments to at least get some compromise
