What kind of stories though Vibe?

A story could be fact or fiction.

Just shit that can apply to life. I feel some things are legit in the bible just not the super natural shit. In which really there wasn't much super natural shit anyway except for when Jesus was around.

I believe the bible is true to an extent. All that 'super natural' shit is just the juicy lie to make you 'oooh and ahhh' over.

Both though, fact and fiction. The fiction part could just be a misunderstanding, what they believed for whatever reason and so on.

So basically what I believe to a much lesser extent, while the book is likely true with the biggest portion, all the supernatural stuff was added to make it more appealing?

I believe that certain land areas were real and that certain areas did meet a great demise, however so much of the supernatural floods and super natural things surrounding Jesus were just found in so many other places before then it feels to me like it has been conformed and fitted with actual happenings to meet the version they needed to control people using it. As to why they would do it, around that time everything revolved around superstitious beliefs. Like I said before, If you would put a David Blaine in 10 AD he would be treated as a God right now and people would believe it.

I don't consider a flood super natural or an earthquake etc. That's simply nature not God sent. If it's natural nature then that's what it is. I believe cities were real, land etc too.

There was a documentary I watched online a few nights ago I should PM you the link to about that.

They go into detail about the bible and the stories being told before, then they go away from it to show other stories that fiction at the time and later on down the road people began to believe them and everything. Very interesting video.

so anytime a story sounds similar to one that was heard before is false? GTFOH

Well when someone is Born Of a Virgin, a carpenter, the son of god, killed and ressurected three days later, etc... over and over throughout multiple regions and civilizations over thousands of years...

Yes!

And it's not similar. It's the same exact thing over and over.

If I said hey conflict

"At 2:39 am on Oct 8th in Pittsburgh a guy named Mike driving a red ford pickup with the back left taillight out hit a deer and went over the right side of a hill and hit a oak tree and ejected the driver out breaking his left arm and left femur" you might believe it.

Then you hear someone tell the same exact thing only it's a guy named Steve and the city is Seattle but everything else is exactly the same it becomes iffy, probably, but iffy.

Then you hear it again with a name and city change "At 2:39 am on Oct 8th in Dallas a guy named Joe driving a red ford pickup with the back left taillight out hit a deer and went over the right side of a hill and hit a oak tree and ejected the driver out breaking his left arm and left femur"

Then again and again and again, you tend not to believe it at some point because some things that fit so well to another don't happen that often.

here is where you need to research more

Or you need to.

Plenty of Gods or sons of god have been murdered and died, then three days later rose from the dead.

The only unique thing to the Jesus story is he died for our sins.

I just really wonder how people will respond when the security blanket is taken off and people have to make a decision for Christ.

Right now people can doubt, question, mock, ridicule, etc. because we live under a security blanket. Persecution has not hit America.

But the goats will be seperated from the sheep just as the wheat is seperated from the tares when stuff really hits the fan.

And then we all will see who really has been born-again. Glory to God.

Only a born-again believer will stand for Jesus Christ when a sword is at his neck. Only those who love God will die for God when push comes to shove.

AND YES PUSH WILL COME TO SHOVE SOON!

READ REVELATION.

YOU WILL DIE IF YOU LOVE JESUS CHRIST!

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John

So you've come to this conclusion, not by facts, but by:

I think there is plenty of facts that a lot of the characters in the bible and supernatural stories were told anywhere from 100-5000 years before with different names and religions

well how many of these 'facts' prove that the bible is just a bunch of stories?

Read my post earlier about the car crash and that explains it, when so many stories from a 5000 year period fit perfectly and are told 20 times over using only different names and places, its kind of proof its a folklore passed down.
