I think the reason is b/c it gives the opportunity to say "nigga" W/o suffering a backlash of gettin Young Buck stomped in person.

That way they can brag to their other white friends and say "Hey Billy. I said "nigga" around a bunch of black people in a hip hop forum, and they didn't do anything." That they'll get a high five, and earn suburban "street cred".
