Yes, it speaks to me because this is what I do....I hire and fire people like this all day long. They got all the best intentions in the world, but lack the motivation to do the simplest of task. This was a job for him, true enough, and not a career. Yet and still, there is a better way to handle your business, and yourself for that matter. What he just did shows that he lacks the maturity and foresight that is needed in the workplace, for whatever position.

That's not what we saying, B. Well, at least I'm not. Nobody is looking down on the nigga. I'm just trying to tell the nigga the shit that I didn't learn until later on. Yeah, he 19 and got no family to support. But the nigga likes money, right? The nigga want some cash in his pocket, right? All I'm saying is that he could have went to the bitch and said ' Look, don't talk to me like that. I don't talk to you like that so I'd appreciate if you would call me by name.' And I'm a firm believer in the premise that you practice like you play. That's complete bullshit though. As a person in HR I would hope that you'd put more pressure on management and not on the workers.

If someone comes in and gets threatened first thing, is called an idiot, is treated poorly in front of other workers. They're not going to be productive. Also, there's a learning curve, even with boxes. I'm sure he didn't know exactly how they did things there. That's basic org comm shit. It's culture like that ruin corporations. Even the lowest form of employee deserves respect. And that shit was disrespectful. Y'all should be looking at management, not at him.

You missing the point, son. You right, if the manager broad was on the IC making threads about it, I'd tell her that she can't talk to young niggas like slaves and expect them to not spaz. But she ain't here. My argument isn't that she was RIGHT in talking to him like that. But life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you respond to it.

How would I know to look at management, when the only person I see behaving in such a manner is the employee? I only know what I am told. Had he came to me and said "Hey, Manager A said this to me, and I really didn't appreciate it". I would have been more that willing to address the matter in an appropriate fashion. However, Jeff decided to spaz out, thus causing him to be removed from the premise, and my only course of action is to speak to the manager, who will more than likely gloss over their part in the incident to keep their paycheck coming.

So, with that said, he still lacks the maturity and foresight that is needed to survive in even the most basic of environments.
