I was 14 when my sister bought it for me in 05' and it still is one of my favortie albums. Shouldve won the Grammy for album of the year in 05'. The production is FLAWLESS and kanye's technique is Bette then it was on college dropout. It's a very soulfull record and has every type of track from goldigger,to hey momma to we major. The skits are funny and I love the guests:Lupe,jay,nas,common,game,Camron,Paul wall, brandy.

I'm a ye fan have all his albums but if I had to rank them

1.Late registration

2.College dropout

3.graduation

4.808's and heartbreaks.

You praise everything on the album except his LYRICS. Kanye cool but an average lyricist at best. That alone keeps him from ever having a classic album, just my opinion. I can't just listen to an album for the beats

The lyrics are solid. I don't listen to the album for the beats the music is great. It's great songwriting and production and solid emcee skills. He's MUCH better on the mic then college dropout.

LR is better as far as emceeing goes, YE greatly improved there, and the production is also better.
