You may have faired well against religious believers, but you've obviously met your match here.

What you thought you were going to be able to act a fool forever?

lol

Yea...eventually his style boils down to "let me say racial epithets and try to sound witty" when he runs out of steam.

We are on this earth but for a millisecond, why is it that man thinks that because he has come into a little knowledge, he has it ALL figured out?

I have to disagree with this. I think it's simply the way people practice the religion. Everything is either about being blessed or going to heaven. That's pretty much every message in the church nowadays. You'll never hear a sermon that doesn't focus largely on what you'll get for doing the right thing. I'm not attacking Christianity. I in fact subscribe to Christ's teachings. I'm talking about the way it is practiced these days. Honestly Christianity is a great faith, but it has been tarnished for a long time by many of the practitioners.

I do agree to some extent on that. There are a lot of big churchs out there, commercial churchs that sometimes dont deliver the word how it should be delivered and put they're own lil twist on it. Im almost a year into my Christian walk. I found my church by a miracle not by just popping in. ( Long story) But the church i attend is small just starting out, no more than 20 people attend on sundays. My Pastor is not a dream builder and he teaches there is a lot more in it than just being blessed and heaven. Before all that you have to renew yourself and its a process. Its not an easy thing just to become a Christian because you struggle with yourself and temptation.

Thats how i feel...

"Your honor, there's no proof this nig ger whistled at that white woman... but there's no proof he DIDN'T whistle at her either."

"Your right prosecutor, both sides are equal. We can assume he did it despite the complete lack of evidence."

Do you see why this isn't acceptable?

*sigh*

It's not an entirely empty belief. Like I've been saying, I have a legitimate reason to believe the way that I do.

Neither of us have facts to back up our side of the argument, all we have is reason.

You're not right, champ. Get over it.

Well props to you. It's good to find a real church with a real message.

jesus died on the cross for everybody else's sins, right?

thats the fuckin centerpiece of the whole book dummy

You truly are an idiot. Jesus spent 30 years on the earth, teaching, healing, and delivering a message. You want to try to ignore that and boil down the whole faith to the violence that happened in the last couple days of his life. Jesus' life and teachings were the centerpiece of the whole book, not his death. His death served a purpose. It was a sacrifice for us as martyrs have done for various causes for millenia. But trying to make it seem like that's all Christianity is about in an effort to debase the belief system is the height of stupidity. To discount Christianity as a great religion simply because the key figure chose to give his life to save his people is like saying the Civil Rights movement was a failure because MLK continued his work knowing full well he would likely be killed.

thats not correct, his death and resurrection are the ONLY part you are required to believe in if you want to go to Heaven, according to Christianity
