To keep it 100, the world in such bad shape. Hurricanes don't really affect my day to day besides a affect in gas prices. These 2 earthquakes in Mexico got me on edge though.

Nope not at all my G. I was agreeing with you to an extent. If it doesn't directly have to do with Ameerica, most Americans couldn't give 2 fucks. I love my West Indies, Boriquas, Dominicans, La Raza, Central America, and South Americans though.

damn... I been monitoring these joints closely myself. Though I'm not in the Caribbean i'm close enough to where these storms affect us to some extent every year.

We've been fortunate so far this year but the season aint over just yet! Everybody currently going thru it or recovering from the last ones are in my thoughts

To keep it 100, the world in such bad shape. Hurricanes don't really affect my day to day besides a affect in gas prices. These 2 earthquakes in Mexico got me on edge though.

Eh.. Mexico sits in one of the worst earthquake zones.

I don't think it's that no one cares abt other ppl or countries, we feel bad for them and what not. It's just outside of that, what are we supposed to do? They're out of our reach. Majority of ppl don't have the means to do shit for others like that in other countries.

When it hits America, we care and do shit cuz they're Americans. Everyone does for their ppl. It's much easier to help since it's within our reach.

Even through coverage, the majority of news covers our disasters and shortly covers theirs. I don't think it's a "fuck them, we are more important", it's just the means to do something costs a lot of money.

You're only going to care when it starts affecting where you live, your job, your money, gas, water etc..

I think it's normal. I don't think there's anything wrong w it either. I don't feel as if it's purposely done. Yeah, you have certain groups of ppl who may truly not give a fuck and even be happy - but those are the shittiest of the shittiest and don't represent everyone.
