How would you reboot the batman franchise?

Um, have batman, bat girl and nightwing and robin all going ham on the joker who is played by that skinny kid in kickass.

I say find a tone somewhere in between Burton's films and Nolan's films to allow for some more liberties, but still keep it grounded (unlike Schumacher's take) and with an R rating.

Batman, Nightwing and Batgirl would all appear in some capacity

No origin. Only flashbacks as they pertain to the story (mostly Robin origin).

Gotham would be much gritter and darker.

I'd keep the two villains per movie theme and go with

Victor Zsasz & The Ventriloquist

Riddler & The Mad Hatter

Joker (w/ Harley) & Red Hood

SMH you'd be running off majority of your audience and wont make as much $ as u can .... Families aint trying to take their kids to no R rated batman bruh

I wouldnt reboot it. I would continue it from part 3, where robin is now fighting crime in Gotham. The villains would be black mask and the riddler. Robin gets killed which lures Bruce back in to Gotham.

Robin gets killed by the Joker though

I know but the movies don't have to follow every aspect of the comics. In the movie black mask could be the one that kills him.

Ventriloquist is a dope villain. Could be very creepy. Think "Saw". Plus, you could use the female Ventriloquist and there's the Hush tie in since yall want him in so badly and stop the series from being such a sausage fest.

the reboot should be the first step and a tie in to the justice league film....

the court of owls would be the main villain and they would tie in with his families past just like in the comic , new look for the backdrop/set, new cast, new look for his gadgets, vehicles and suit. there would be mentions of other superheroes and comic cities and maybe a guest appearence from another superhero in plain clothes...maybe green arrow or ray palmer...the end would be a huge cliff hanger ala sherlock holmes in wich the main villian was a pond to a bigger villian ( who would be the justice league antagonist) most likely vandal savage or braniac

suit could look something like this dark grey with balck cowl belt and bulky gloves (forearm guards) with gadgets built in...no batman has donned the grey color since adam west cloth suite

court of owls would be a cult like organization just like in the comic that no one knows about

they shouldnt reboot anything..people know who batman is, people know who superman is. If your gonna do this justice league tie in thing right you gotta build up the other lesser popular characters.

Since they are dead set...ill rather them focus on nightwing as batman and tim drake doing his like thing in the same movie
