Which is funny because she was supporting Barry Goldwater as a Goldwater Girl who was against the Civil Rights Act. Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders was fighting & marching for Civil Rights in the 60s.
Even with the '94 crime bill that destroyed millions of black families, calling blacks super predators, admitting to growing up under a racist father, was against the civil rights act, worked for Barry Goldwater's campaign, sat back and allowed black Libyans to be wiped out, calls racist Margaret Sanger her hero, etc etc and blacks still carrying her torch....that sounds a little obsessed to me.

In ref to the '94 crime bill, Sanders always spoke out publicly and criticized the mass incarceration and death penalty provisions in the bill, saying:

My personal take is I dont know of anyone who is "obsessed" with her. Man people got their own lives. Its like there are 2 choices and its about who is the better of the two. Actually I think there is a lot of pragmatism and just looking at it realistically. I dont have too much problem with her going in. Like I have a limited amount of sympathy for people who do crimes for the most part. The crime bill from decades ago isnt a major issue for me in 2016. In the end, people committed crimes to be involved in it. It is what it is. Do people think they were going to go easy on crime especially in the wild 90s? That was the era unfortunately for many people. Victims of crimes too. But everybody has their own issues thats politics. Gettin mad cause the next person sees things differently can be part of it I guess.
