I wondered the same thing. I seen dude over the summer with Wiz khalifa and thought he was a random nobody white rapper. He was the last act to come on before Wiz and the whole entire venue knew the words to his shit. Never happened to me before in my life cus im usually hip to new dope artist.

i don't see him as the next eminiem but then again black and white kids have lowered expectations for hip hop. I don't really listen to the obscure eminem songs but the loose yourself type songs are miles ahead of mac in my opinion. I have a feeling he will be mediocre for a while but i could be wrong. I just don't see the it factor even for a mainstream artist. I know he only 1 album in but i don't see him getting to a level of drake (who i hate but dont deny his large fanbase).

i'm not saying he's like Eminem at all, but from what i know, this is why he's famous. Donald Trump even gave him props for "Donald Trump" and called him the next Eminem. Also, Mac Miller also has a young fanbase like even 12, and 13 yrs old white kids are buying his music
