How Popular were u in High School on a Scale from 1-10

i was probably like a 7 or 7.5.

everybody knew me, especially the girls.

but i kept to myself, i was to concerned on bigger issues than dealing with popularity. and i was the only kid in school who spent most his time listening to hip hop.
i had a small group of really good loyal mates.

(6 or 7) I went to school in the old neighborhood and then had new friends in my new neighborhood that knew other people. So I would go to a party and almost know everyone. I played sports to and was in the band my senior year(black high school).

I havent read this thread yet but I betcha I am the second olest poster again. Until Old Skool strolls in.

7. AP classes with the white kids, and hung out with my people (black people). Basketball team, Track team etc.

Could've been a 9 or 10 if I tried to, but I wasn't caught up in that shit AT ALL.

Honestly I was very popular because me and my nigga who I'm still close with at age 24, we ran the show.

Everybody wanted to be like us, we were the leaders, trouble makers..

I can honestly say thank God my persona is so great because usually you hear those popular people from school end up being computer game geeks or fucken lames.

I'm more popular now than I ever was I got like 3 groups of niggas I can chill with at any time.

Once a real nigga, always that real nigga.

If people look at their hs days as their best years then they took a loss

I just see high school as a really fun time in my adolescense but I do wish I would have not gotten in so much trouble and focused more on school and sports

I think highschool was prob the main reason i went the street route. It seems like everybody had everything when i was in school but once i got outta school nobody really had what you thought they had.

I was popping heavy after highschool and the niggas that i thought was the shit be looking at me like damn that lil nigga got that or fucking her.

Being on the outside looking in you dont realize Perception is different then Reality.

Yeah, no doubt. Best years are University years, so far at least for me...

I was probably like an 8 at school, wasn't the most popular in the year, but I was in the school football (soccer) team and was good at athletics/sports in general. I also didn't hang out with the football team, which I think made my friends even more diverse. But in all honesty, I didn't have an OTT personality to become popular, I think it was just the sports and the fact that I'm polite and nice to most people that garnered myself a lot of so-called friends (rather people who know you). Probably more popular in my first year of university though as that's when I came out my shell completely.

Popularity doesn't mean anything though, I'd rather be on a level with everyone else and have 5-10 real, true friends.

7-8. People knew who I was because of my siblings & my husband (bf at the time). I also ran track & cross country, was on the pep squad & another club and was cool with people in all the cliques.

Moved after 9th, so @ my new high school I was like a 7 or 8 from 10-12th grade.

Never did school dances or organizations. But I was loud as fuck and known for my laugh. Got voted 'best laugh' back in 2008.
