man, i wasnt a loser per se, i just didnt mess with chicks that went to my school. well, i did, i wasnt a lame. I had a job. I dress the part so that i didnt get bullied. i looked like a drug dealer. u can understand that, right? niggaz swore i was slangin and i was a baller. but nope. i worked. 3 jobs. like a jamaican. i was a busboy/server, i was a vendor at cleveland indians games selling hotdogs, and i worked at the family business.

i worked to stay fresh and help the family out. i did my dirt, but got lucky that i never got caught up.

stop thinking that being "cool & hood" is what makes a man.

I was about a 5. we were poor, so I didn't dress very well and I was really focused on my studies. I had plenty fights, but I wasn't drinking, partying and having sex like most kids were. The only reason I wasn't a total pariah was because I did dance and choir. I was also voted class body.

Not because I was so cool, but I knew cool people, and cool people liked me. Otherwise I would have been real low key, I don't talk much, I'm very reserved, not shy, don't get it confused.

And my girl was prom queen no lie... I was popular by association I think I ain't even gonna lie. Plus I was the first one to have homemade porn from my cellphone circulate in high school... everyone knew me then lol.

I was the guy that people looked at and be like... "oh that motherfucker, he with HERRRR????" "he rolls with THAT CREW!" "he made PORNO!"

4 no more than a 5. i could have done better. but im glad it turned out the way it did. most of the ppl who won the high school popularity contest (both male & female) seemed to have lost the life contest.

one of the realest things i ever heard in church is when this preacher was talking to the youngsters about being cool. he said aint nothing cool about being cool b/c once you get my age all of the cool kids are either dead or in jail. i was in my late 20s at the time and i started thinking and the preacher was right. most of the cool kids in my high school were dead, in jail, or on their way to being dead or in jail. i even had guys from my high school make the nfl and sure enough at leaset 1 of them while in the nfl made his way to jail. i'll take being a 4 or 5 and doing well for myself anyday over being a 10 in prison.
