Craniofacial measurements inevitably fail to accurately assess "race" because the human population is structured in gradients not clear-cut divisions. Sure, you'll find different measurements in West Africans (the ancestry of most black Americans) and western Europeans (the ancestry of most white Americans), but throw some East Africans into the mix and it fails. Tutsis were classified as Caucasoid because of their facial measurements by the racist Belgians.

There is more genetic variation among the so-called races than between the so-called races.

There are no genetic races - I think it is better to classify humans in terms of geographic populations and common ancestry.
