I don't usually go to cookouts with my girl unless it's her own fam's cookout. I'm bout to try this with my girl real talk. A few weeks ago we had a little dinner with some friends and this one chick asked a few of the guys was they ready to eat and she would fix the plates. I politely told her you fix whoever else plate you want to but dont fix Chaze a plate cause I got that. She was all no its okay I'll fix his plate to. Before I knew it I had done snapped out on her and called her all kinds of bitches and other shit. *Sh* My homegirl had to calm me down. *sh* thats why I dont like new bitches coming around because they act like they dont got good sense.

it's a very simple gesture of endearment....a woman making a plate for a man, is one of the little things that help create a bond.. it can seem extremely insignificant on the outside, but it's little shit like that, that will speak volumes for the level of the relationship....

I can respect your view on that. But it's still pretty insignificant to me. Just seems like making a mountain out of a molehill. That kinda insecurity ain't cool...... I mean, if I'm with someone, she knows she's mine, and she knows that nothing that anyone else says or does will change that. I'd usually make my plate anyway, but if someone closest to the food offers to make a plate for me, it's childish for my chick to get upset over that.....

That analogy is much better than another dude giving her money, but it still doesn't really apply very well to this discussion. During a lot of my family dinners/cookouts, if one of my female relatives, or closest female friends offered to make me a plate, that's in no way indicative of any funny business between us. Think about it, if I'm fuckin' somebody on the side, would I really want them making me a plate in front of my chick?

And where I live, there ain't much of a likelihood of another nigga washin' my girl's car. Some other nigga washing my girl's car is waaaaay more indicative of something going on between her and dude than somebody making me a plate. If another woman COOKED something and made me a plate of food at our house, she'd have every right to get pissed at me. But just making me a plate at a family cookout isn't a big deal at all......

But then again we share the same circle of friends so if he's around thier cooking 9 times out of 10 it was a few of us in the kitchen cooking together, but just to eat dinner another chick cooked cause you happen to have stopped by to see your homeboy.
