I was born in February, and I was born with a serious cold. When I was young I almost died from a case of walking pneumonia, and I had scarlet fever once & almost died as a child. Because of it my immune system was weakened and if I catch a regular cold I get real sick. Therefore I do not like to be sick and I watch my health carefully. If I ever caught the bug I wouldn't be able to hide it because my immune system isn't that strong. I would die before 5 years. so trust I watch my health carefully

I used to work at a clinic so I have seen people with it. As for knowing anyone personally, no. I have heard of 2 people having it that I've known, but no one I'm close with or that I know for sure has it.

Yea i know 2 ppl that currently have it. I volunteer at this adult center and 2 chics their have it. My cousin Tamara died from Aids in 2003. This shit isn't a game in DC. And it's really sad to see how folks still aren't strapping up when we have aids/hiv numbers comparable to parts of Africa.

And most ppl who got the shit, don't even know they got the monster cuz the average nigga dont get tested on the regular. As many out of wedlock kids in the black community, I dont doubt the high rate of HIV.

Well if you do your HIV/AIDS research the chance of contacting it from heterosexual unrpotected sex is 0.08....less then one percent chance. Some people have unprotected sex and get it right away others have unprotected sex with a HIV person and don't contact it. And some people are immune to it. A doctor told me your partner can be HIV positive and you can have sex with them for years and might not end up catching it. The Disease is very weak outside of the body. Blood is the easiest way to transmit it.....sex fluids have traces of HIV.....but not nearly as much as blood. I don't know anyone personally with HIV and I doubt they would admit it to me anyway. I have heard rumors of people or friends of friends that might have it.

My aunts friend got aids, she divorced her husband cuz her husband was messed up cheatin all the time, smokin weed infront of the kids jus not givin a fuck, so he fucked off for a year, they got back together cuz he needed a place to stay and he gave her aids before he died,i was scraed to hug her when i knew she had aids but i was like 12 back then. an old friend of mines mom got HIV

and this junkie next door to my cousins place got HIV.
