This is the only sensible post here. It must be a east new york thing cuz outside of illmatic and it was written nas has only one classic and iww is debatable.

I am. Was cool

Nastradamus cool

Stillmatic great

Gods son was cool

Lost tapes is where niggas lose me. 80% of the songs were/are on old Dj clue, do wop and Ron g mixtapes. Was the material great ? Yes but the album itself classic? Fuck no

Nigger album was okay/good

Hip hop is dead was thrash the only highlight was black republicans. Everything was mediocre

Streets disciple never listened

Life is good was great.

You niggas have an unhealthy obsession with nas. For real

Name 3 MCs that have a discography CLOSE to being as good as Nas's

Nas don't have 10 classic albums bro. Foh wit that bullshit.

And he my favorite artist. I can recite his first 4 albums from memory. But I'm no Stanley.

And to be honest the only thing that's stopping jay from having the better discography is illmatic.

Truth

Lol at any answer over 3 and POSSIBLY 4..... Y'all wild

I'd take Nas's discography over just about anybody else. Only person that coming close is Jay Z imo.

Thats not the argument here. U can have a GOAT discography without 5 classics which NOBODY has, not even Michael Jackson.

Beef with you know who...

Fire album, return of the king...

Nigga asked why Stillmatic is a classic lol

Stillmatic got more impact than Reasonable Doubt and that's Jay best album

The funniest thing before Reasonable Doubt it was an album called Only Built For Cuban linx which was much better.

Only in Hip Hop would an album like The Lost Tapes not be considered a classic. In every other genre there are multiple examples of non albums tat are considered masterpieces, even greatest hits collections are considered classics. Outside of everybodys crazy, The Lost tapes is basically flawless and it's a more cohesive album and listening experience than anything Nas has done since 1996.
