Rhymefest...GLC...Consequence...The inserts in all his c.d.'s...

And yes...Ross is a better rapper than Kanye West...

Son stop. Having people help you create a verse is not being Puff and Dre status. Im sure 95% of Kanye verses come from Kanye. I guess with anything a minority must exist. Cause I cant see many people outside dedicated Ross fans implying hes anywhere near Kanye on the mic.

Biggie was nt promoting shit hell CLive Davis didnt even want Biggie on RD neither did Diddy Clark Kent had to beg to get Biggie on RD. Thats the reason why Brooklyn Finest was not a single. Plus was RD originally an independent record....

BIGGY was on the album and dropped one of his most controversial verses and the first time u hear him mention 2pac on a record since the beef, maybe even the first time ever,

BIGGY was also in the Aint No Nigga Video and also let Jay rock on his LAD album, how much more luv cud one nigga get from BIG?

Whichever way you look at it BIG promoted Jay, he aint have to be in the video, or make a song with him or let him on LAD

Its not a slight at Kanye to say Ross is better lyrically.

Miracle? No. More creative? Yes. More diverse? Hell yes. More memorable verses? Goes without saying. Better flow? Obvious. Im not saying Kanye is a monster on the mic. Im just saying hes extremely better than Ross. Ross cool. I still bang POM and actually purchased it before he picked up all these new wave riding niggas. Homie makes good music. Lets be real here.

Irv Gotti: I did not want that record to happen. I was adamantly against it. I would call Jay every day like, “No, fuck that! Don’t do this record.” I said, “What I’m scared of is you doin’ [a record] with Biggie and you comin’ off like his little man.

Lenny Santiago: I was doing promotion at the time, and we were at the video shoot for “Dead Presidents.” If you remember, Biggie was in the video.

Your post reminded me of the making of Reasonable Doubt in XXL that came out a few years ago.

He has more than Eminem I'll tell u that

He puts out a consistent and quality product, and as an artist each one of his projects displays growth.

I enjoy his music moreso than Emenims and if we were to break down "classics" along sub-genres and regions it would be a discussion more encompassing of different artists and the classic label.

I got "The War report" as a classic but my brother would say it's a east-coast classic, E-40's "Federal" is considered a West-Coast classic, etc etc and in the genre of coke rap you might hear that "Lord Willin" is a classic....

Bottom line is their are very few universally accepted classic albums so as a fan I'm more apt to label songs "timeless" than I am albums classic.

I can agree with that I guess. I just dont know what the criteria is sometimes, I guess, especially with an album like TD, I think it had one song I did not enjoy, and it had two break out hits, so maybe I mistake that with classic, but it was one of the few albums that I enjoyed that many songs, ever.

1. I’m Not A Star (Produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League)
2. Free Mason feat. Jay-Z & John Legend (Produced by The Inkredibles)
3. Tears Of Joy feat. Cee-Lo (Produced by No I.D.)
4. Maybach Music III feat. T.I., Jadakiss & Erykah Badu (Produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League)
5. Live Fast, Die Young feat. Kanye West (Produced by Kanye West)
6. Super High feat. Ne-Yo (Produced by Clark Kent & The Remedy)
7. No. 1 feat. Trey Songz & Diddy (Produced by Danja)

and RD did not sell 1.5 mil out the gate, that was way after, RD went GOLD, stop being a revisionist...
